What are your goals? How much are you hoping to lose? Good luck to ya! You will definitely do it if you log EVERYTHING you eat. I strongly suggest weighing it for greater accuracy too. Read the "calorie counting 101"post. I'm sure you will find it helpful.
  • Hi! I started working out seriously January, but started my goal of entering a competition beginning of March. What is your goal? It is fun and motivating to know others have similar thoughts about working out and how to use this site to help. More friends the better! Good advice above, the first couple of posts are how to get started, good idea to read those.

I have reached my weight loss goal. I lost 70 lbs since last march. Now I'm working on reducing body fat a little further without losing overall weight. Getting closer to my long fought for six pack. I'm ultimately wanting to gain weight, but the right way of course. I was 230 lbs and an now down to 158. Male 5 ft 10". 38 years old. Hoping to get up to 170 lbs over time.

I finally bought a home gym due to frustrations ay my local gym (guys camping out on the equipment). I'm really liking doing it at home much more.
