I buy mine at Kroger but it's available at whole foods and some Walmart I believe! It's amazing stuff

I'm very interested in trying the Wink stuff too.

And please can we just stop with the vegan attack like I eat what I eat and I can call it whatever I want. Maybe it's not the same as everyone else's definitions or the Webster dictionary definition but it's my choices and my food and my attitude so please just forget the word vegan every came up and can we focus on what the topic was about...a new cool food

Not on MFP all the meanies have to come out and make sure you know what a horrible failure we are at not understanding something they seem to think we just have to understand. I think its called ....Nothing else better to do than pick on someone. :)

The only attack I have seen in this thread is you calling people "meanies" and saying that those who disagree with the OP have "nothing else better to do." Nobody has called anyone a failure.

Just a small note about the attack angle.. It really is not one. Like, honestly, I could care less if someone calls themselves vegan if they are not one. I have bigger meatier things on my plate to worry about (lol I slay me)

But, I do think that if you realize you are just going with the label but not actually aligning yourself with the values, to not announce a food is vegan when its not, out of fairness to those who truly are.

I agree. Certain descriptions are very vague and don't really say anything (like "clean" or "processed") but vegan is a very specific word describing a very specific lifestyle.

And thank you all for all your other suggestions. When I run out of this I may look into the others. I really want to try the wink desserts

So I have a feeling some of you may still hate this product but I just wanted to bring up one of my favorite things, arctic zero ice cream. I have always eaten it but didn't really like it (was one of those going to eat it till I like it things) because it always has a very icey watery texture.
Well recently they've totally redone their products as you can see with new labels but with the new design came a new formula. And let me tell you , it's good. I currently am working on a pint of the cookie shake flavor and it's so creamy I can't believe there's no dairy.
This stuff is 150 calories per pint (yes per pint not per serving, only 35 calories in a half cup) , fat free, dairy free (I'm a vegan), has added protein and fiber (not much but any little bit counts!) and is low glycemic. And now it's delicious!!
They also have a new line of "chunky" flavors that are 300 calories a pint. I haven't tried those.
I'm not a saleswoman for AZ or anything but I just wanted to share my discovery of the new formula that is now actually freaking delicious.

I have a bad habit of mindlessly eating dried cereal as a dessert after dinner, which by all means isn't a bad thing to have dessert, but I sit there eating out of the bag and end up having God knows how much. Now I've switched to having a few spoonfuls of arctic zero knowing that even if I ate the entire thing (which I never do, typically about 1/2 cup is enough to satisfy my sweet tooth) it would only be 150 calories, so where can you go wrong.

Has anyone else tried the new formula or the new flavors? I'd love to hear your thoughts!

I tried that flavor....not a fan, but if you like it - go for it!

Will have to try it out....havent had ice cream in 6 mths

You poor thing... Why would you do that to yourself?

I also wouldn't call Arctic Zero "ice cream". It's like somewhat flavored watery cardboard.

I'd rather eat Edys slow churn for 150 calories for like 89g than suffer through an entire pint of that crap.

Talenti offers some vegan friendly flavors, fwiw. I vote Talenti.

I had no idea that Talenti had vegan flavors! I never even looked because I assumed they didn't. I know what I'll be trying this weekend . . . thank you!

Absolutely. I had a friend who was vegan who loved Talenti. It is select flavors. From Google it appears the sorbetto may be the only ones? But their sorbetto is yummy too!

Not the blood orange sorbetto! (They put in egg whites--maybe to stabilize or something). But the raspberry and mango ones are. I've had raspberry and it's really delicious and doesn't feel like diet anything.

Mango Talenti Sorbetto??!! WHY HAVEN"T I SEEN THIS IN MY STORES?! Sounds amazing!

Yes, look for the sorbetto flavors. They're very good. The Roman Raspberry is definitely vegan, and definitely delicious (IMHO): https://www.talentigelato.com/our-products/roman-raspberry/

I used to eat their frozen desserts all the time (favoring particularly their Cookies & Cream, Coffee, and Vanilla Maple flavors in that order). However, I haven't had a chance to try their new recipes yet! My local grocery stores take forever to carry their newer products, so fingers crossed that I get the chance soon! Even if they do have somewhere close to 250 calories per pint as they've been accused of, it still beats the 330 calories for a small "Like It" (small) size ice cream I'd otherwise be tempted to get from Cold Stone :x
