okay this might be obvious to some, but consider me oblivious. just recently started using tofu again, is the weight on the package for the tofu as is or is it the same with water pressed from it, calorie wise? after pressing some of the water out i reweighed on my scale & of course got a lower number as opposed to prepressed. do i go with the first number?
also while we're on the subject of tofu, what do you like to cook it up with aside from stir frys.

Normally (depending on brand) it's the weight one the water has been removed. It is however one of those foods that will never be 100% accurate. I use it in many things Stir frys, Curries, I use in puddings such as chocolate mouses even in some cupcake recipes. I sometimes throw left over tofu in smoothies. There's millions of things its a very versatile ingredient. Google or pinterest and you'll find 1000s of ideas0
