Matefit tea vs. Tiny tea?

Hey!
So my friend gave me both of these tea toxes because she didn't use them. I've tried the bootea and I liked it but it really hurt my stomach. Has anyone tried the matefit metabolic boost/detox tea or tiny tea?

Ditch them both. They're laxatives. Abusing laxatives for weight loss is bad.0

I don't know if the matefit morning/day tea is a laxative though, I would imagine the night time tea to have a laxative. Matefit doesn't encourage or promise weightloss.
Tiny tea is an probably an appetite suppressor because it says 30 minutes before each meal.

For the Matefit, are you talking about the Metabolic Boost or the Detox? The Detox does have laxative ingredients in it. The Metabolic Boost just looks like caffeine, I don't see anything that will energize you any better than a cup of coffee.0 -
No magic tea is going to help you lose weight - like they said above you'll either be spending a lot of time on the toilet or getting some extra caffeine. Toss them both in the trash and just work on your eating habits instead.0

It's a two in one I think, im not sure I didn't buy them! The metabolic tea just says helps with digestion. The detox is a separate bag that says drink every other night! I am a past coffee addict, my body has just become immune to coffee, I don't get energized from a cup of coffee anymore0 -
Both are laxatives. Ditch them as they will do nothing. You will drop water weight from the diarrhea, but you could easily gain it back. If you want to reduce bloating, drink water. Lots of water. Detoxes with vinegars or other things don't do anything. They have been shown to be shams anyway.0

I don't know about those specific teas. I drink peppermint tea with a tiny bit of egyptian licorice to add sweetness. It curbs my appetite, just because something is in my stomach, and it curbs my craving for sweet, because of the licorice. No calories, no caffeine, and it increases hydration which is super healthy. If you want to drink tea, drink tea. It's good for you for a lot of reasons. But drinking those specific ones for specific reasons, ehhh... Unless you love the taste, don't bother.0

If you like tea, I find green tea really helps with bloating. I've also heard that Dandelion Root Tea helps as well!0

I find chocolate helps with bloating
well I'm not sure help is the appropriate word, but I only tend to bloat around my period, and chocolate on the sofa with a book and a blanket seems to make it feel a little better

contains senna root which has a laxative effect on the body0

I read that while sitting on the sofa, first day of shark week, with chocolate. You're so right.0 -
It could be just because I'm really tired, but laxative tea that is made specifically for night time (I'm assuming before bed) sounds like a really bad idea and I'm just having a really hard time getting past it.0

I have cats on my feet, does that count? (I love that they think I'm being affectionate when I jam my feet under them)0 -
Fennel tea is good for bloating.0

Neither tea will help with bloating. If you are bloating after eating you would probably be better off buying probiotics. Either in pill form or through yogurt or other dairy. If you go the yogurt/dairy route, make sure you look for the phrase "live active cultures" or all you are getting is a tasty, sugary snack.
The teas, well, from a medical standpoint- your best bet is to ditch them. Just because someone gave it to you doesn't mean you have to use it.0 -
Drink more water maybe? Are you drinking the proper amount to stay hydrated and reduce water retention?
I find that when Im dealing with bloating, drinking more water helps tremendously.0 -
It looks like you don't know anything about the teas and why would you want to consume something you no nothing about..
Drink real tea, coffee, water. Bloating is caused many numerous amounts of things and drinking some "magic" tea hoping to alleviate this seems pointless. Consume something you enjoy unless it is already a bloating trigger..0 -

That would be why im posting a thread about it... To learn more about them and hear other people's reviews.

I get atleast 8 cups a day no including what I drink at the gym. It's just when I wake up in the mornings, sometimes I feel super bloated.

If you want to lose weight eat less calories than you burn. If you want to raise your total daily energy expenditure (eat more while in a calorie deficit), add some exercise in.
Im not trying to lose weight. I strength train 6 times a week and burn plenty calories. I was wondering if these two teas helped others with bloating and feeling energized!

Never tried those teas, but my suspicion is that if one hurts your stomach, it probably has a laxative in it (even if it's a "natural" one), and should therefore only be used if you require a laxative.
ETA: I find when I'm having digestive issues, peppermint or ginger tea helps... I usually drink peppermint tea if I feel bloated and ginger tea if my stomach is otherwise upset. Either way, I enjoy the taste and find them soothing, which in turn soothes my stomach.0
