Well, I got an education tonight. Thought I would only eat egg drop soup while my family had Chinese entrees. Calories were fine. Sodium was not. I'll probably be up another 2 pounds tomorrow. Oh, and then I had an egg roll. And then I had a crab rangoon. And then I had a spring roll. Sure glad I didn't buy myself an entree. Lord.

I had egg drop soup one of the first weeks here. It didn't really cause anything with me but, I drinks tons of water and only weigh one day a week so I dont have to see that fluctuation. I love me some egg drop soup.

Wow, now that's bad, lol. I thought I did bad yesterday with the mozzarella sticks from Arby's. They messed up our order and gave us mozzarella sticks, then told us to just keep them. :o I decided to have a couple. They were only about 105 calories each, but the sodium...422 mg for ONE stick. And they're not even that big. It was so worth it though, lol. I'm pretty certain those double fried noodles would send me to the hospital...yowza. :s

I eat sodium in excess all the time. Even if the scale stalls. Love it.

Ugh, tell me about it! My husband has a cardiac condition and is supposed to be on a low sodium diet (ha). But my god does he love chinese food and egg drop soup! I found a recipe to make egg drop soup at home, and when I do it it's really low sodium (and he still loves it). But I swear they throw a block of salt lick in the pot along with the soup when they make it in the restaurants...

anything you eat out at a restaurant is going to be a sodium bomb...really, I wouldn't worry about it all that much...who the *kitten* cares about water weight? I pay some attention because I'm hypertensive but othrewise who the *kitten* cares about some water unless you're trying to make weight for wrestling or something...it's water...has nothing to do with fat.
