Juicing to replace a meal isn't a good approach to weight loss. While you are creating a calorie deficit, liquid dieting has one of the worst regain/fail rates due to the fact that they don't teach you how to eat food in portion or control.
Juice to supplement, not replace.

1 cup water, 1 cup frozen strawberries, 1 banana (or omit for lower calories and sugar but it wont be as fruity), 1 granny smith apple cored and sliced but keep the peeling, 1/2 cup cucumber, 2 cups spinach, 2tbsp lemon juice. It is DELICIOUS. I drink it every morning just because I am not a breakfast person and this allows me to get my "meal" in the morning.0

That is a smoothie, not a juice. With a juice, you filter out all the fiber and other solids, which makes it much less filling and nutritious.0 -
So do u know any good ones??0

Juice is, by definition, a liquid that has had everything filling removed from it. I don't know if anyone has a juice recipe that will keep you full for a couple hours.0 -

Not hours it's just a drink I want to have so I can get nutrients I'm not a big fan of veggies I just bought a blendtec
I want to make some0 -
I'm leaving the skin on everything I can not on oranges or lemons I buy organic veggies so I'll leave skin0

Personally, I don't think anything without protein/fat is going to keep you full for a couple of hours. What about eating some greek yogurt or cottage cheese instead?0

Okay, well, your initial post said a couple of hours.
Do you have a blender or a juicer? I think you might be looking for smoothie recipes. There are several threads on those that might have some ideas for you.

Oh I see. Well if using a juicer maybe you could try this still but not frozen strawberries? I am not sure. But if you ever want an awesome smoothie there ya go haha0 -

OK, OP wants SMOOTHIE ideas, not juice.
To keep you full longer, blend some greek yogurt with fruit and TRY to slide a few veg in there, to keep nutrients up and sugar down....If your cup isn't clear, try spinach and a bit of PB2 with frozen strawberries. I also like fresh mint and cauliflower in a yogurt smoothie.
If you like "slushy" frozen smoothies, fill an ice cube tray with greek yogurt or almond milk and use the cubes in your smoothie.0 -
http://thegreenforks.com/category/smoothies/ I love this site and there are definitely some smoothies here that sneak in veggies while being AMAZING0

My personal favorite juice is
1 large apple
2 red beets
large handful of spinach
1 large carrot
3 large stalks of celery.0 -

Correct, the OP is using the wrong terminology and created confusion.
A blender chops and blends all the ingredients but leaves them all. The end product is typically referred to as a smoothie.
A juicer removes all the bulk leaving liquid containing only nutrients and calories.

I use a Nutribullet - I don't eat enough veggies so I blitz everything in the Nutribullet and unlike a juicer you are getting all the goodness as it blitzs everything. You also get a recipe booklet which tells you which fruits/veggies are the best to juice etc.0

If you're using an actual juicer like The Champion or of that sort, this is what I do...
2 whole carrots, 1 stalk of celery, 1 quarter sized chunk peeled ginger, 1 granny smith apple, and a handful of spinach. I sometimes add pineapple or an orange to that mix. Or grapes from time to time.0 -

As folks above said, adding bananas and yogurt will make the smoothie more filling. Protein powder probably would, too.beemerphile1 wrote: »A juicer removes all the bulk leaving liquid containing only nutrients and calories.A juicer removes all the bulk fiber leaving liquid containing only nutrients and calories fruit and vegetable sugars that are more likely to cause insulin spikes without the accompanying fiber.0

Mine have some gala apple, carrots, bananas and frozen spinach, plus egg whites from a carton and water to thin it out. I don't use a whole lot of each except the egg whites (you can see the weights in my diary for today at lunch). I suggest using frozen chopped spinach from a bag vs fresh, only because I've gotten mild food poisoning too many times when I used to use bag spinach (too often to be a coincidence, and never since I switched to frozen). I measure out five baggies per week wi the fruits and veggies, freeze them, and and slightly thaw each one daily to add the egg whites and water before blending. Oh, and I use a NutriBullet, so it keeps all the fiber. For even more fiber, I sometimes add ground flax seed, or if I need more calories, I will replace the water with milk.0
