Breakfast cereal

Hi,
(W:122kg/270lb. H:6'. A:42. S:M. BMI:37.5)
I exercise 4 mornings a week for 2.5 hours. Cardio & Resistance hybrid. Always fasted. Afterwards, my routine is to consume three (3) Weetabix biscuits + Zero Fat Milk = 320cal.
I'm not educated enough yet to know instinctively the difference between Carb and Fat and Protein and Sodium differences between all the difference cereal competitors.
Is there a "better" choice of breakfast cereal than Weetabix for post-workout replenishment?
Paul.

Bacon and egg with a slice of wholemeal toast perhaps. Protein is important.0

+ You could try with plain oats? I make mine, overnight. Throw few spoons of oats, plain yogurt in a jar, leave it over night. In the morning add honey, fruit, nuts, raisins... whatever you like. It's super delicious and filling.
+Also, on the days with workouts add protein shake or protein bar (have you tried QuestBar?)
+If you like eggs, you can have them scrambled or boiled... with some bacon or a toast! YUM
Honestly I find those more filling than biscuits, and they will give you a lot of energy! Good luck0 -

Cold cereal has basically the same stats, so don't kid yourself about some great virtue to eating Special K above Froot Loops or whatever.
A scoop of vanilla protein powder goes well with most any non-chocolate-flavored cereal.
I don't know why you're using fat-free milk, but maybe that's beyond the scope of this thread.0 -

chobani non-fat plain yogurt or yoplait. You can add cocoa, coconut everything...
If I want to mix up things I use some chocolate yogurt and don't add any fruit. It's really yummy!0 -

That's a long time to work out for mate, I admire your dedication. Weetabix are fine (I like them), but maybe a more balanced breakfast that include a few different macros (Protein, carbs, fats etc). Porridge with a scoop of protein powder would do the trick (low cal, good protein, slow digesting carbs). Fage Greek yogurt are good, (low cals, high protein etc). You can even add a scoop of protein powder to it to improve the taste and bump up the protein. Just some ideas.
