They are also a way to piss off other members of your gym while you hog more than one piece of equipment.
I use them occasionally to shorten the time I need to spend to get through my workout. I've also used cluster sets before to keep my heart rate elevated, but only when the gym is nearly empty.0 -
Yea that is why you need to chose your timing wisely , I gym at the most off peak time possible0

Short and sweet, Thats like saying running is the way to go if you want to move faster. Can you elaborate ?0 -
Yea I do Body Beast and it's all Super sets, Progressive Sets, Tempo etc. Very effective. I never really knew about lifting like that until I started doing the video's. The gains have been amazing. The Tempo stuff is by far the hardest for me. Especially 6 count reps. Couldn't imagine doing Super Sets at the gym though.0

Well you could do like bench press and bent over rows with the same bar. Some supersets at the gym take less time than how some people do ne exercise. Also bicep curls and skull crushers with same bar.
Also when I superset its not like I am going for strength gains. Its more for weighted cardio purposes.

I prefer supersets while cutting. I'm at the point where my goal while cutting is to maintain strength instead of increasing it and I can do that and finish up faster when supersetting. I train at home so I can hog the equipment as much as I like.
I also just started adding in bicep and tricep specific exercises and superset them now even though I'm not cutting. They are at the end of my workout when I am usually running short on time so it saves me 2 or 3 minutes doing them that way.0 -
