My other half informed me the other night, with a massive grin on his face that he's down 25lbs since I started working on weight loss!

Does that make my total 74lbs instead of 49lbs?

Turns out since I upped my food game back in October and insisted that one of us cook something for dinner every night, instead of twice a week with the rest filled in with takeout, leftovers and scrounging he's been dropping weight steadily. No measuring, no logging, no big push. I think I'm a little jealous :)

To be fair, he's been fully supportive in this whole endeavor, and even though I didn't insist he not have unhealthy food in the house he's made an effort on his own to cut back on it so I'm not tempted.

It's still nice to know that we're in this together, and it really shows that our decisions can have an effect on the people around us.

I am having the same thing happening, thoguh much smaller number as I'm new to this. We would eat out for lunch and dinner every single night. I decided I wanted to lose weight and we'd have to at least make dinner every night. I've been using MFP to keep track of my calories but he just does the math quickly in his head "Oh for lunch I had 600 ish then I had that 200ish snack so I should be good for 1000 more." He occasionally turns down food he would normally eat for lunch because he thinks it will put him over his limit by the end of the day but that's about it. No cal or macro counting. He's losing just as steadily if not more so than I am! Lol
I think his support is huge in making this the first time I've successfully lost any weight. He'll say we should eat this low calorie meal, or we should walk around a bit for some exercise, and that helps me adhere to my goals so mcuh easier than still going out to eat and having to push through all the temptation :)
I'm glad you've had so much success so far! It's fun when it's a team endeavor huh :)
