My fitness goals are strictly asthetic. I guess I am just vain and shallow lol. But anyway, to have a body similar to this:

I want to run a half marathon. Emphasis on run. I don't want to have to walk more than 1/10th of a mile.0
-
my initial ones I've completed:
run 5km
run 10km
working on now
swim 750m freestyle (nearly there)
Sprint triathlon - in 6 weeks (best get my swiming sorted first)
run 5km in under 30 min0 -
Survive the zombie apocalypse.0

I am going to do a 10K with obstacles (Mens Survival of the Fittest) and a 5K (Spartan)... Every year I say I am going to get fit and so these events are going to be an additional push. Looks can be deceiving in my case, but my photo was a few years ago now and I've not changed a huge amount but I have never been physically 'fit'!
I'd like to be a better swimmer for August, going on holiday and there will be a pool so I want to be able to be a good swimmer by then and not need to worry about technique. I would love to get better with cardio, my last swimming lesson was exhausting as it was entirely based on cardio...
I would also like to do a run without having the 'need' to walk for a bit.0 -
40 min cardio,20 min on weights and 15 min swim laps a day 6 days a week is what I want to work up to for now0
-
Strength goal
to be able to do unassisted pull ups
Weight Goal
150-155 (currently at 178)
Race Goals
run a half marathon in under 2 hrs (current best time is 2:12)
complete another Olympic Triathlon (last time was 3:22...I'd like to do it in under 3)0 -

zzyzz is a great role model.0 -
My goal is to be able to pull myself up if I were to ever find myself dangling from a cliff.0
-
I've already run all the different distances, so my next race is going to be a marathon relay with my sister (shorter, obviously, but I haven't done that one.) I'm already signed up for it. I also haven't done any of the obstacle races or zombie runs, so those could be in my future. I think I would probably panic and die during the swim portion of a triathlon, so that's out. All those bodies splashing around and my phobia of deep, dark water are not a good mix.0

Single digit BF at 180lbs0

My goals this year are:
1. Beat the longest bike ride I did last year, which was 20.52 miles.
2. Beat lowest adult weight, which was 227.
3. Officially be out of the plus size department
4. Run 10 minutes straight with the jogging stroller. I completed this on May 30, running 20 minutes.0 -
thanks everyone! All those goals are amazing, I'm still thinking about which ones I want to pursue definitely a lot of good ones0

Short term: Run my first 5k (Colour Me Rad) in August
Medium term: Run one 5k each month, work up to 10k
Long term: Complete a sprint triathlon (750m swim, 20km ride, 5km run) in April 20140 -
This year -
Run a sub 1hour 10k
Squat 300 lbs
Deadlift 300 lbs
Bench 150 lbs
Rep out 5+ unassisted pullups.
Getting within striking distance on all of them. Pretty sure I'll hit my running goal at some point this summer, and as for the strength goals, by the end of my bulk this fall I know I will hit them.0
