every time I google a food and click on myfitnesspal the calories are inaccurate and I am constantly having to refresh the page. I even have to put the servings to 0 then back to 1 just to finally get the accurate amount of calories per serving. Is anyone else having this problem if so how do you fix this?

The database is made up of USDA (accurate) calories which on the website are shown without an asterisk

And also user entries which can be totally wrong..these all have an asterisk...look for ones with most member confirmations and NEVER select anything that is homemade or an obvious recipe because what they've used is different from what you've used

Never choose servings ...look for ones with weight measures

For recipes build your own in the recipe builder

Cross check against pack calories and other calorie databases

It gets easier as you build your own go to foods or recipes

Are you googling, or using the MFP search button?

I will "google" foods and compare them to MFP foods If that is what you are talking about. Not sure on what is happening and is causing you grief. On MFP, I will add it as it's default serving size to see if it matches up with the "googled" food serving size and nutrion. Then I change the serving size to "1g" so I can enter the precise grams of my food. Hope that helps.

On the app if I change the weight/amount and the fixed option (1g/50g/100g/tbsp/cup) together then it seems to go a bit wonky and I have to amend it again.
