I am finding it very hard to turn down the pints and kebabs and the moment and VERY hard to drag myself to the gym with a headache! I am determined though and while I don't expect to lose any more weight this week I will make sure that I stick to my calories and don't put any on.

I am just wondering what situations make everyone feel tempted? And how you find the motivation and the practical solutions that help you to still be good in those situations? I think it will help me this week!

Your struggle is common. I get tempted if I'm out to eat. Sometimes I have work lunches or social engagements that take me to restaurants and I always start with the best intentions, but then I hear what others are ordering and convince myself that a little "treat" won't hurt! I do pretty well with excercise regardless, it's just the food. I do excellent with food when I'm making it myself, but eating out socially gets me every time.

As with anything, you try to limit your exposure to temptation. In my case, limit trips out to eat. In your case though I wouldn't get too hung up on one week. I mean, it's your last week of university and a time to celebrate accomplishments and probably say goodbye to some good frends. Maybe I'm in the minority, but enjoying life and good food and the occasional beverage isn't something we eliminate, just something we temper. Everything in moderation.

    Good luck!

World Cup! Aaaaargh!! Lots of people coming to my house with bags of chips, crates of beer and pizza...that is so not going to help! I guess I still believe the Weightwatchers mantra that you can eat or drink anything as long as it is in moderation. I used to love pitta bread with humus and salad from the kebab shop, much better for you than meat and after a pint of beer then have a soda water and lime, you will be too full to drink too many pints hopefully!

Edited as can't spell (or eat) meat !!
