Map my walk/Sporty pal

Does anyone know how accurate the calories are on both apps. They seem to differ quite a bit and I walk the same 3 miles every day

    I use the map my ride app and when I use a hrm the app and hrm calories are pretty close to the same. Off by maybe 10
