Hi Y'all,
I have been using this app for a few weeks now, and so far I'm really happy with how much it helps me to stay motivated :)
To quickly tell y'all my story, I am from the Netherlands, I'm 1.87M (6'1ft) and I was always a little heavier than the other kids. Then I went to Texas to study abroad, and that's kinda where it went wrong. I gained almost 15 kg (33lbs) within a year, simply because fast food is easier and cheaper than eating healthy. When I came back to the Netherlands, I realized really had to do something about it, so I started exercising and eating healthier (whilst working at Mcdonald's, which is hella difficult!) I lost around 20kg (44lbs) within a year, So I was about 74kg(162lbs) And then recently due to medication I gained 5kg (11lbs) Which is why I downloaded this app. And I'm really glad I did, the diary is really handy, and it knows a lot of Dutch products (yay!) Also y'all are great people!
(hope the kg/lbs stuff isn't confusing for y'all, but I still don't understand pounds  )
Please don't hesitate to send me a friend request, I'd love to read more about y'alls stories

Kisses from the Netherlands

So glad to hear that you've found MFP to be handy. It really is a great way to keep yourself accountable for what you're eating. Hopefully you maintain your positive attitude and motivation, and reach your fitness goals!!

I've been working out with kettlebells for more than a year now and they prefer to use kgs, so I'm learning to adjust ;)

    I hope so too!
Haha, kilograms are just so much easier to me than pounds
actually I think I prefer everything that's used here (C, KG, KM, etc.) over the American system haha. it just seems more logic ;)
