Exercise calories

Can someone explain to me why some people only log 1 or 2 calories for their workouts. I have seen people do this after working out for at least an hour.

Because they choose not to eat back their excersize calories..0

Because they are doing TDEE - Total Daily Energy Expenditure - less a percentage of calories if they are losing weight (probably 20%). I am sure someone else can explain it much better than I can, but this method takes into account one's calories burned from exercise. This is in contract to MFP, which does not include calories burned from exercise in one's deficit. Hope this helps.0

Because they have a fitness tracker and it's already accounting for the calorie burns.0

I do this because I'm using the TDEE method and as Lynn mentioned, exercise calories are already included in my total calories for the day. I'd still like to track my exercise, and MFP won't let you enter 0 calories burned, so I enter 1.0
