I quit teaching in 2011. Started helping my husband full time cooking at our diner. I gained weight & was unhappy. Decided no more junk food. Started eating oatmeal with nuts & berries for breakfast or yogurt. Healthy lunch like salads. Ate regular meal at dinner. Then decided after a few months to add exercise & eat healthy at dinner as well. Took me a whole year! 95 pounds gone! Yes, I still cook at my diner. Burgers, fries, biscuits & gravy. I bring my own healthy foods. I really don't miss the junk food. Yes, it all smells wonderful, but I know it's not what my body needs. U can do it if I can do it! I'm sure most if u aren't around that kind of temptation 7 days a week/8 hours a day.
