I was a powerlifter in my early teenage years. I worked at the gym, and I was very active. Slowly my energy depleted and I was sick ALL OF THE TIME. I was first diagnosed with fibromyalgia, along with several other random things...Overly medicated, which caused more symptoms and more meds were prescribed. Finally I got off of all the meds, which helped a little. I got mono, more than once... Finally diagnosed with Chronic Active Epstein Barr Virus... I have taken up a healthier eating style and left a stressful job. My issue now is being able to work out. When I overdo it, I go into relapse and wind up very sick. Even just light activity leaves me feeling tired and achey every single day. Now I am scared to overdo it, so I just don't. Not good. I have never found a solution.. but I am more than willing to listen to advice!

Maybe my goals of being an extremely active person are unrealistic. The doctors around here aren't much help with my final diagnosis. "There's nothing we can do for you. Get plenty of rest and call for an excuse if you can't work" is the only thing i've gotten out of them.
