On the days when I am outside I spend it raking,pushing my 4 yr old in a swing and chasing after my 1 yr old. I also go for a walk. I have used a pedometer in the past and have logged 12,000 steps.

Even with all of that, I'd still set your activity level to sedentary so you're not overestimating calorie burns for the days you're not doing that.0
