Muscle Twitch

I lift on my lunch break and EVERY time the muscle on my inside right knee starts twitching like crazy after. I'm sitting at my desk at work and it is driving me crackers!
First, why is it twitching and why that muscle only?
Second, how the hell do I stop it?
Thank you!

The muscle there could be a little tight. Try these 2 stretches.
- Hamstrings - https://youtube.com/watch?v=ykOlGxeEnr0
- Adductors - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c_mVfjqzeZs
Hold them for 30+ seconds and repeat hourly. Also massaging it may help.
That area can get tight from crossing your legs under your chair. Try to sit with your knees at least 90 degrees (more is better) and feet parallel.
What leg exercises do you, and how many sets?0 -
Thank you! I'll have to give them a go.
I alternate between squats and lunges day to day.
Squats 45Kg 3 sets of 8 reps
Lunges 20Kg 3 sets of 8 reps
They are really the only leg work outs I do. I can't seem to get deadlifts right so I'm kind of avoiding them. lol0 -
It happens to me in my hamstrings and a lot in my right forearm/bicep sometimes, staying hydrated and up on potassium daily really helps, and stretching. It is pretty normal after working out as long as there is no injury type pain involved0
