Serotonin awareness diet - self paced

my chiropractor reminded me that 5htp is a supplement to boost low serotonin. Since this is quite common and leads to over eating, I decided to impliment a self paced serotonin boosting regimen. Based on frequent carbs but smaller portioning and taking 5htp before my vulnerable time - which is evenings. Yesterday I tried 5htp and noticed an appetite suppressing side effect as I felt more satisfied for longer. I plan on taking some this late afternoon and see if it tides me over the evening when I'm likely to crave salty snacks. Good luck to me.
