I took a bike ride today with my 30lb toddler in tow in one of those trailers hooked to the back of my bike. I know it would be more calories than regular biking because of pulling the extra weight. Anyone have any ideas?

out of curiosity I did a web search on the topic and couldn't come up with anything close to an answer even in the bicycling groups that are out there. My guess, and it is just a guess, would be to take one of the bike exercise profiles that are available on MFP and picking one of the faster paces to add the resistence you perceive you're towing. But remember this is only my guess.

You might try going to one or more of these sites to see what you can put together based on what you think you've done.
