Exercise promotes weight loss - my perspective

hi all,

Well I just wanted to voice my developing opinion that whilst calories in vs calories out is what actually makes you lose weight, exercise plays an important part...for psychological reasons.

On days where I go to the gym and workout, I am always so much more conscientious about what I eat...regardless of whether the exercise is beneficial or not, it changes my mental state for the day and ensures that I am strict with what I eat.

Therefore, my encouragement to those who are doing this via dieting only is to introduce some structured exercise every day. It really does change your perspective on things.

That's all folks!

I have experienced the same effect. I just "feel healthier" (i.e. feel that I've done a healthy thing) when I've exercised and I seem to take that to the table as well.

Regardless of the rationale, I only get results if I work out. No workout, no loss. I just get sluggish instead.
