Daily goal changes

I have my goals automatically set. My calories stay the same of course but my protein, carbs, sugars, etc. change each day. Why is that? I always stay close or under my daily goal so I don't see why it would adjust to take in even less. Please help explain. Thanks!

Protein, Carbs (sugar is a carb), and Fat are Macros. Each of the 3 Macros makes up a percentage of your total calories. So if your calories increase (usually through logging exercise) your total for the macro's has to increase to stay the same percentage.
For example:
MFP Goal before exercise - 1490
Protein is set to 20% - 74.5 g (298 calories)
MFP Goal with exercise - 1490 + 695 = 2185
Protein is set to 20% - 109.25 g (437 calories)0 -
When we change our weight to show lbs. dropped MFP typically lowers our calorie intake. This then causes you to have the need to reset your macros back to what you prefer them at.
Does that help? or am I understanding what you're asking?0
