Staying fit

I've never really had a problem with staying thin. I was raised on healthy, organic, and all-natural foods so even in college I have the same habits of choosing healthier foods. I can't stand being idle so even if I don't get to work out, I try to walk the long way to class and do 50+ squats a day. I've been on Depo birth control for about a year now and lately I've been noticing a pudge gradually appearing on my tummy. I struggle to consume even 1000 calories some days so I have a strong suspicion that the birth control is causing the weight gain. What should I do to keep my tummy toned?

Have you considered weight lifting? A good strength training program will give you a more athletic look.0
