Listen to your body.
Are you sleep deprived? Do you wait until you're too hungry to eat? Being too tired or too hungry are great setups for disaster. Both situations can cause a person to eat more than they need.
It's one thing to have an occasional late night or to work through lunch every once in a while. But if this becomes the norm, consider bringing some balance into your life. Neglecting your body's needs will ultimately sabotage your WLS lifestyle.
Action for the day: Live today with balance. Eat when you are hungry (but not too hungry), rest if you need it&pay attention to your body's needs.

Great advice - thanks! I'm totally guilty of not eating when I'm hungry and just waiting for my scheduled meals. I don't think that results in overeating for me, at least not yet, but I can see how it might.0

I agree! A great trainer friend, always advised, eat when you are hungry to help fuel your metabolism. So if i'm super hungry one day, I don't mind going over a bit in my calories (i do try to work them off but not always possible) as i know i'm jump starting my metabolism by eating often. I try not to go more than 3 hours without eating during the day.0

Great advice, Mollie! I'd just posted on the Shred thread that I was going to take the day off from working out - my knees are tender and my lower back is sore (not a good tender and sore, more of a doing too much tender and sore), so I think I'm sacrificing form trying to keep up with a daily workout schedule. I also went to bed at like 8:30 last night. Seemed silly but I was feeling so tired. I figured I must need some sleep! Your body tells you all kinds of stuff when you learn to listen.0
