well here we are again..can't even count how many times I've been here..I track, I lose weight, I stop tracking, binge, gain weight and start tracking again. It's a vicious miserable cycle!
But I have to do something and get healthy! I need to find a way to quiet the diet head..the one that says "well you already are over your cals because of xyz..might as well polish off this carton of ice cream too!" So dumb! Any advice is welcome! Thanks! And I look forward to participating in this community to get support and help!

Hi. I am in a way like you. I will just say "ah screw it" some days. What I have found to be really helpful to me is track no matter what. If I had a binge, I will log it to the best of my ability (obviously I don't weigh food during a binge). What has slowly started to happen is I see the days over for like 5 to 6 days straight and it's enough to motivate me to do better. So my advice would be log no matter what and don't beat yourself up over it.

I also will no longer allow myself to avoid the scales I weigh every day when I wake up and record it, even if I don't like the number. Keeps me accountable and doesn't let me slip back into old habits of "well if I don't see it, I'm not gaining".
