Dropped below 200 pounds today!

My first day was January 6 at 221 pounds. Today the scale read 199. So that's 10% of my weight, 22 pounds, in 80 days.
I lost 9 pounds in the first month, 7 pounds in the second and the rest since then. Hit a few plateaus, the longest about 2 weeks.
I'm using only MFP, watching the calories and not following any special diet. However, I'm staying away (most of the time) from the high calorie nuclear warheads.
I've also increased my exercise, mostly walking and bicycling.
The last time I was under 200 was probably 15 years ago, maybe more.
(In case you're wondering, I'm a 53 year old male)

Congrats! I'm looking forward to that as well, hopefully soon! I weighed the same when I started around the same time. For me, getting below 200 will also get me out of the obese weight range, so I'm excited. Again, congrats on your success!!!!!!!0

Thanks everyone.
MFP and an accurate kitchen food scale made all the difference.
The kitchen scale is far more important than the bathroom scale.1 -
Brilliant! Well done you! That is also my first goal. x

Nice. I started seriously at about 212 in January (though I was up about 10 lbs above that a few months earlier), and am now down to about 203-204. Under 200 is in sight, but I'm not quite there yet.0
