last 5 pounds!

I am only 5 pounds away from my goal weight of 115 pounds! As I get closer to my goal, do I increase my calorie deficit because I need to work harder to burn calories, or do I decrease my deficit because I dont have as much weight to lose? Also, once I reach my goal and to maintain it, do I gradually decrease my calorie deficit, or do I go right to consuming just as many calories as I burn?

I am almost in your boat. Last 8 to go. Goal for me is 120. I decided to stay with my currently calorie plan of 1300 a day plus some workout calories as long as I a still losing .5 to 1 lbs a week. Once I reach maintenance I am only going to increase my calories 100 a day, a week at a time until I feel comfortable. I got that recommendation from a nutritionist friend.0
