daily calorie seems wrong

alories seems the wrong amount. I weigh 18 stone 4 and 5,7confused

    Yep, agree with Megan - if you feel 1330 is too low then up your goal rate to 1.5 or 1 lb per week. 2lbs per week will restrict the maximum number of calories.

    That was about what I was getting for a 2lbs a week loss at your weight. 1.5lb a week is 1500 per day for me at the moment and much easier to manage. Setting it too stringently at the start might make you really struggle.

    And you get extra calories when you exercise remember.

    So MFP is estimating to keep your weight constant you would need 2330 + exercise calories every day.
    By selecting 2lb a week weight loss you are subtracting 1000 cals a day from that.

    well, trying to lose 2 pounds a week will require you to eat very little. try setting it to a pound a week.

    Seems about right to me for 2lb a week. If you exercise you will get more calories. If its too few calories then adjust o a less aggressive rate of loss i.e 1lb a week as said above. It has to be something you can sustain.
