I don't understand - you met your macro percentages or you met your macro grams. You can meet the percentages at any calorie level by eating the right mix.

If you are doing IIFYM, it's the grams you want to meet, not the percentages. If you meet the grams, you'll hit your calorie target.

Hence me saying "Bad news, did not meet calories or grams or anything...guff!" You got to start actually reading people's statements before you ask questions

You worded it very poorly, so why get snarky? Your statement doesn't make any sense. It basically reads:

Good news - I met my macros! Bad News - I didn't meet my macros or calories.

    I'm so confused.

Snarky isn't how you want to be if you're looking for help... for one, you didn't hit your macros.

You started with "I met my macros"

No, no you did not. You're pretty far off.
And eating less than a short, sedentary woman.

    [(26x9)+(116x4)+(103x4) = 1110 cals)]

But hey, good job on the Vit C, I guess...

However, I'm not here to pick on you. Just make sure you hit ur daily macronutrients in grams and the rest will take care of itself, given that you've set them up correctly.

I'm lost. Pic says you have 23g of fat, 119g of carb, and 106g until you hit your goal. Did you mean you've ingested each of the three macros at all today? Congrats?

    FTFY

    I don't think he has.
    222g protein, 49g fat, 222g carbs
    (2217 cals, 40%p 40%c, 20%f)

I'm a 150# female with a higher fat goal than that. And isn't 222g way overkill?

49g fat isn't too low. But 222g of protein likely is. It doesn't hurt to be that high, but I couldn't tell you my suggestions unless I had his bf% and knew his activity level. I'm guessing he could add anywhere from 0-15g's of fat, drop 40-50g's of protein and make the rest up by adding some carbs. but that's just a guesstimate.

And that to me would model more of a cut than a bulk or maintenance... not sure what OP's goals are.

    The statement continues after macros....dude....

I apologize, let me rephrase 1 word since this has spiraled out of control even though I don't know how...

Good news: I met my macro percentages, bad news: I did not meet my calories, grams or anything else, guff (as a sign of frustration)...bottoms up (drinking night)....

    Yikes!

You didn't meet your macros. You "met" your percentages.

Thought, that doesn't really make sense, either... but at least the intended meaning is a bit more obvious.

I'm on the wtf are you talking about train.

Meeting macros means meeting your grams, not having the "proper" % breakdown, below your calorie goal. So maybe don't come out swinging next time. People are trying to explain the concept to you.

either way.. you're a 29 year old male and i eat more grams of fat, carbs AND protein a day than you as a 26 year old female on a cut. i think you're undereating.

That's a significantly different statement given the context...

Yikes you guys are obviously here to just be critical but I for one am posting openly on this community to post and share my journey warts and all. There are many days that I am one target and then there are days like above where we miss by a long shot (which was the purpose of my post, to show that there is humanity fitness and sometimes we fail. Yesterday was a fail but pointing out the percentages was intended as a humorous upside to that fail.)

I apologize that for leaving out 1 word since obviously process of elimination is not a strong suit for most. Don't take life too seriously guys you'll never get out of it alive.

Anyone else get a chuckle out of that? And/or see the irony?

To my defense I was anticipating bar food at my work outting which is why I kept my eating low for the day. Sadly, there was no food which is why I missed by a big margin.

    Eat when you get home?

Yea a little bit but that was 2:30 this morning, just some OJ, muffin top and multivitamins. I don't trust tipsy me not to binge on chips and stuff so just went to bed and ate when I got to work. I date night with my girlfriend so chipotle is in my near future too.
