We often have a hard time being encouraging to others. This thread is for developing, learning, or teaching this skill. Simply post something unfortunate and the next poster replies with "look on the bright side.... (Insert a positive outlook) then post a misfortune for someone else to respond to, and so on. Have fun.

    My firm has decided to downsize, and have eliminated key positions, I now have added responsibility for less pay, and our health benefits have require us to pay higher premiums while providing less services. Why me?

    look on the bright side, you daughter can get away with all kinds of things with you out of the picture.
    my jeep will be needing new axle seals, and I just dont have time to devote to it
