Hello everyone...new poster here.

I've been working with MFP for a little over 7 weeks now with good results. So far I've lost 25 lbs. which represents 25% of my goal. Having just celebrated my 66th birthday Tuesday the 4th, I thought it was time I said hello to everyone and offer some encouragement to those just starting out.

My experience with MFP has been excellent. I have not been hungry, have not gone "exercise crazy", and not denied myself anything to eat that I really wanted, with one qualification; If it doesn't fit in my calorie "budget" for the day, without giving up a bunch of better food choices, I don't eat it. Oh, I also drink at least 8 to 10 glasses (64 to 80 ounces) of water each day and I think it is important to do so.

Actually, I find this program kind of fun to do. I enjoy logging what I have done/eaten daily and it's not a big bother. Best of all...this works...at least for me!
