JKJ832 here, aka: Janet to my family and friends. Don't you just love it when you can't find a less complicated username?
832 = John 8:32 "...the truth will set you free!" - the scale doesn't lie, neither does my closet, nor the knee brace I am wearing.
Losing weight is doable, I know, seven years ago I lost 102 in a little over a year (clean eating and exercise), and then promptly became pregnant. Completely unplanned, My husband and I didn't think we could have any more children, especially since my oldest son was 21 years old, but at 44, I gave birth to our third son, who has special needs: Apraxia and Autism.
Parenting a special needs child, means you have very little time to take care of yourself. Not an excuse, merely the truth, but it's also the truth, I HAVE to get a handle on my weight for my health sake. Gimpy knees aren't optimal when you are trying to chase a supersonic five year old, who-by the way - is an absolute BLESSING!!!! We love this kid, and I want to be healthy to care for him and my other guys.
Accountability always helps, as does support,...thus I created a fitnessPal account. Looking forward to sharing with others on the same journey.
God Bless!
