I just walked into the local gas mart and OMG the smell of that heavenly bacon was insane. I grabbed a protein shake and I swear the little ladies must of asked me if I wanted a taco to go like 20 times!!! So I need suggestions for breakfast. I'm trying to keep my eating clean. So far I've lost around 13lbs so I want to keep going but man I can't get that smell of bacon off of my mind!!!! Help!!! Suggestions anyone?

What do you like (other than bacon, of course) and what do you consider "clean"? Do you need something you can grab and go? (Or something you can buy now?)
For me breakfast is filling when it has some protein and fat, but I tend to like larger breakfasts anyway. I usually have a 2-egg vegetable omelet with lots of veggies (and some feta cheese), plus usually some other kind of protein on the side (usually cottage cheese or greek yogurt (I like 2%), sometimes smoked salmon, sometimes leftover meat from dinner, I'm not anti bacon as an occasional thing, although I rarely have it). Then if I want more calories maybe fruit too. (If I was a snacker I'd save the fruit for later and maybe the dairy too.)
For grab and go I'd look into the premade egg muffins: http://dailyburn.com/life/recipes/egg-muffins-breakfast-recipes/
Obviously I like eggs. If you don't, won't work for you.0 -
I either have yogurt with granola and fruit, or a piece of toast with an egg on top. Or both if I'm hungry :P
But bacon isn't the worst thing in the world! Sometimes I'll have a slice or two on the weekends. I think pastries are way worse than a lil bacon.
Scrambled eggs with peppers or other veggies is yummy. If I'm on the go I'll have a granola bar. As long as coffee is in the picture I'm happy!0 -
Breakfast foods are my favorite because there are so many good options out there! Some of my favorites:
Plain greek yogurt with raw, unsalted almonds mixed in & a tsp. of cinnamon
Oatmeal prepared with unsweetened almond milk topped with fresh blueberries and a Tbsp. of Almond Butter
Whole wheat toast with almond butter and a banana or apple on the side
An egg white omelette with spinach and tomatoes and plenty of pepper
and my all time favorite, Kodiak Cakes protein packed pancakes! You can buy the mix at Target. It's a very high protein pancake mix that all you have to add to is water. For even extra protein, you can prepare the mix with milk or with egg whites. SO good! I use the Walden Farms zero cal syrup to top mine to avoid the sugar and calorie bomb of regular syrup! Or, they are also really good topped with some almond butter and a tiny bit of organic honey!

Have bacon! Work it into your daily allotment today so you don't feel guilty. Painful cravings can lead to eating more of other things. Bacon on its own is clean!0

Someone told me in another thread it wasn't.
Oh, if only there were a less confusing way to talk about food!0 -
Just remember to lick the bacon grease off your fingers, you'll be clean.0
