I'm being treated to a takeaway tonight. It isn't one that lists nutritional value information. It's a birthday, so don't want to be too picky, but could you help me out please, by suggested some lower calorie choices. I've saved some calories for tonight... I've got about 800 to play with!!

Something where the meat is not deep fried and there are lots of veggies. I like Moo Goo Gai Pan or beef with broccoli.
  • Thank you! I'm going for prawns and chicken with lots of veggies and steamed rice.

Just wanted to remind you that sometimes Chinese places will make you retain some water weight which shows on the scale the next morning. Just remember not to stress about that if it does happen and in a day or so it will be gone. Happens to me EVERY time. Happy Bday!

i would go with something with no sauce, lots of broccoli. stay away from egg rolls and soups. i agree with overin - water weight should be expected no matter what you order.
