Sedentary or Lightly Active?

I've been using MFP for a while and I've had my activity level set to sedentary for the past few months, but I'm wondering if that's right. I definitely am sedentary at work (I drive a van for a university and sometimes work in an office), but I walk to work and class everyday along with walking other places to run errands sometimes. I was wondering if I should still have it set as sedentary and just start logging some of the walking as exercise or change it to lightly active?

I'm in somewhat the same situation as you, JK. I spend most of my time at work at a desk, but I workout in the morning for about an hour before work and then I try my best to walk a mile during lunch. I have mine set as lightly active and have been making progress. I have been keeping my breakfast, lunch and dinners below 500 cal as much as possible (cheat days and whatnot, ) and my am and pm snacks to no more than 200 cal (only when I get hungry between meals, though).0

I would assume sedentary until you decide you are losing weight too quickly for the calories you think you are burning.0

It really doesn't matter.
Is your logging solid? Are you losing as predicted by your actual deficits?
