Hello all. Just posting this to commit myself. I've got to start somewhere, so browsing websites for healthier eating, exercising, etc. I just ordered the WiThings body analyzer scale today. I realize the body fat thing won't be accurate but if I spend that much money, I'm going to be seriously into tracking my darn progress! Lol. Two weeks ago I started walking 3 times per week. The apps I've tried all give me different distances for the same course - so I'll be updating my iPhone 5 to an iPhone 6 (more money and more seriousness!) :) So anyway, I started 2 weeks ago and walk close to 2 miles on Mon/Wed/Fri and do some light dumbbell work on Tue/Thu/Sat. I have no idea of what I'm doing and feel a bit lost - but I'm determined.

I went through a really long illness and I'm in pathetic shape, I suppose. I've had back problems in the past and have a bad liver (non-alcoholic problems). After I get some energy, I do have a pass to the condo's gym - but have never looked inside to know what they have. I also hope to find some simple, quick, healthy recipes, as I'm not much of a cook (okay, I'm a horrible cook) and I tend to buy for convenience and know that's got to stop if I want to be in better shape. Wish me luck, peeps. I need it! (Male / 57 years / 176.4 lbs. 5'-9")
