Freaked out about reaching goal and daily calorie increase

I reached my weight goal and suddenly my daily allotment of calories increased a lot. While happy about reaching my goal, which was really tentative, I cant imagine allowing myself that many more calories. I plan to fine-tune my goal little lower. Still concerned about increasing my calories that much once I reach my goal. Any experiences?

    Hi:
    There is a MFP board for Maintenance. There are a lot of experiences there.
    I am on Maintenance. I increased my daily target calories, very slowly (i.e. 50 extra calories a week) and see what happens. If I gain weight go back to eating at a deficit. This is a "trial and error" process for me. Also, I have a range of body weight as my target, not just one number.
