Can someone explain to me why I'm not burning as many calories, but I'm walking just as many steps?

    Congratulations! You've lost weight! Now you're burning fewer calories to move your smaller body around. You have just discovered why it becomes more difficult to lose weight the closer you get to your goal.

    Elaborate. Are you using a fitness tracker? I'm noticing that I've had days with 14,200 steps and burned same amount as days as 9,000. I went a bit overboard and put everything into an excel sheet. Steps, calories burned, calories consumed. Generally, it's consistent but a few days seem off.
