Why does my fitness pal add the calories I've burned back to mycalorie count. Why do I need to consume the calories I burn? I'm trying to loose not maintain. I don't get it.

Your goal is given to you without exercise factored in, so if you exercise you burn more. To keep your deficit the same and fuel your body, you're expected to eat those exercise calories back, but since burns are often overestimated, it's recommended to only eat back 50-75% of those calories.0 -
I just don't log exercise. No real reason to.0
