I know this has been asked, but I can't seem to find a thread about it, but how are ways to get more protein? I can never meet my goal. I do protein shakes, lean meats, nuts, greek yogurt, etc and figure I am missing something packed with protein that might help me.

Protein shakes and chicken breast is the best and easiest form you can get. How many grams of protein are you on? It should be achievable to hit it with all those food.

If you are consuming natural foods...80% carbs 10% fats -10% protein is a better goal.
  • 1. Use alternatives in meat-based dishes.
    2. Shakes are another good protein, especially post-workout.
    3. With some easy diet planning, it's simple to get all the protein you need.

It's your ratios, Your carbs are just too high. I saw your diary and first thing that came to mind was, "she can have larger portions of protein, and reduce the portions of carbs" then i see your carb goals...

I just checked your ratios 50% carbs 20% protein 30% fats, a good place for you might be 40% carbs 30% protein 30% fat, this is a popular ratio.

I just go with what MFP tells me lol. I am trying to reduce carbs and up protein, but that is what I am having problems with. I went from a diet of mostly carbs and sugar to what I am doing now.....
