I'm curious about it. Is it really tough? I've never done yoga before really, but I heard that Pilates can really tone you up and good for your core.

YES/NO? They don't offer it at my gym and wonder if it's worth the money. I guess there's Pilates Reformer and regular Pilates??

It depends on the class. It can be really tough, but a good beginners class should start you off with appropriate movements and modifications. As to if its worth the cost, it depends on how much you are paying. I would go to a Pilates class for 10-15 dollars, but not over 20. Not even for a reformer, which I have to say was really challenging and fun. It is a great core-specific workout, and can be a good leg workout too, but not better than a challenging yoga class, which will target muscles throughout the body, and has mental benefits and flexibility benefits as well.

IMO of course. I'm yoga teacher so I'm biased, lol.
