Can you see the calorie counts for individual food items in your diary? This may help you understand where you are going over.

Bagels are delicious and can fit into a Wright loss plan, but they are also calorie dense. If you have trouble making your calories, you may want to choose less dense options.

Yeah, bagels have a ton of calories before you even put a topping on them, and salads are only as healthy as your toppings and your dressing. I saw a nutritionist who gave me a good salad rule: one protein, two fats (dressing counts as a fat), as many veggies as you want, no bread on the side.
