Are you the 644 calorie plate dude?

Glad to see someone having fun with all this, instead of the usual drama we get around here.

78g cooked rice would be. I just tried it for a different type of rice I have on my food list from a previous meal.

    Your food looks yummy.

Don't be nervous. You are making good choices if mounds of food is what you are going for. When I first started I was doing 1250 and even though I ate pretty well before I was surprised at how low calorie meals that practically didn't fit on the plate could be.

I've increased my calorie count and added back in some cheese and higher cal meat cuts and so on, but still have dinner for around the calories you are coming out with.

<3 (*) And that's how you do it, people (for those who like high volume meals)! I'm in maintenance, but 600 calories is my "target" meal number, and I still like to make giant plates like yours. Delicious, nutritious, and makes veggies fun to eat (bonus for teaching the kids healthy habits for life).

I need to learn to make such heaping meals at a lower calorie. It would make my heaping-plate-full-of-food loving husband very happy! I'm adding you if you don't mind. I need meal ideas. I'm okay with a small bowel of calorie dense food, but all those I cook for are not.
