Hi everyone. I am just getting started on this site but it seems like a really great place. I am participating in a program at work to help loose weight. I have to get in 150 mins a week of exercise, eat only 3 meals a day with no snacks and keep a log. I am now trying to get in 10,000 steps a day. That one is hard for me and taking a lot more than 30 mins a day. More like 1 to 2 hours a day! This is all to help reverse Metabolic Syndrome/Insulin Resistance and to prevent Diabetes which is where all of my weight gain and inactivity was leading. I am suppose to loose 7% of my body weight by the end of the 16 week program. My high weight is 230. My starting weight is 218. I am down to 211.4 since starting the program. I am doing all I can to stay motivated and be proactive. Looking forward to learning more information here and meeting more on the same journey.
