Away to Florida in 40 days (so excited!!)
I'm looking for any tips on what I can do and achieve in that time. Looking to lose weight and tone up. My diet is normally pretty healthy and that is always my main priority health over anything else but is there certain foods I should be cutting out in the next 40 days or certain exercises I should do to make the most of the time I have?
Thanks

Yeah, no.
You should have been thinking about this a lot longer ago than 40 days out.0 -
Yeah, no...
I have, I eat well and go to the gym. What I am asking is, with 40 days to go is there anything I can do to make the most of the time I have left....not that I haven't thought about it before now, have done nothing until now and that I'm leaving it until the last minute!0 -
How exciting, I'm so jealous.. You'll have lots of fun in Florida! 40 days is still plenty of time to get more toned and lose some weight. I don't know what you like to do for your workout routine but simply going for daily walks and doing some strength training 3-4 times a week will get you some results and of course staying within your daily calorie needs. Have some fun for me too in Florida when you go!0

Do some heavy lifting, 30 Day Shred and eat well. You may or may not reach your goal in 40 days but that is probably the closest you will get. Make sure to make your current goal something that will become a habit long term so you won't find yourself in a rut next time0

Have a realistic short term goal as part of a long term plan. Just follow what the guidelines say for a deficit for you and what ever your current activity level is, up it as much as you can. Simple things like walking and light weights are always good. Don't get too hung up on being a certain weight for vacation, just relax do all the normal things you would do for long term health and have a GREAT TIME!

Great thanks! I'm from Scotland so can't wait to get some heat!! I already go to gym, which consists of mainly cardio and a bit if weights in my last section and i also swim as a generally routine. I am on day 8 of Jillian Michaels(always grab that DVD when needing a little pick me up!) I don't really have a goal as such for my 40 days just improvements so luckily I'm not in a rut and my long term goal is continuing with what I'm am doing. Always been pretty active however since having my baby I now need to contend with weight loss as well as keeping fit! Trying not to worry myself about that for my holidays but always good to get advice on what else I can do just before I go0
