Unless you have drug or alcohol issues, they are completely unneccesary unless your liver and kidneys don't work, and then you need a doctor, not a detox.0

Haven't you posted this before? You look familiar.
You don't need to detox. A functioning liver and kidneys take care of that for you.0 -
There are no good detoxes. Keep your money - eat less and move more. Log on MFP. Bam!0

Did you ingest poison? If so, it would be really helpful for the rest of us to recommend something if you told us which kind of poison.0

Get plenty of fiber, protein, healthy fats & drink plenty of water.
That's all the detox you need right there.

I have never seen anyone wanting to 'detox' be able to answer the question of what they are looking to detox from or why their body isn't functioning to the point where it will detox for them.

She started a lemonade detox thread just under two weeks ago.
OP ... the same resounding THERE ARE NO GOOD DETOXES from that thread remain a valid answer for this one.-1 -

Smoothies are good if you want a light meal or aren't feeling particularly hungry... or if you have trouble fitting in vegetables.
I think it's better to eat your food, but saying that, I drink a protein smoothie here and there. Just protein powder, almond milk and frozen strawberries. I do it to supplement my protein intake.
You can make a smoothie whatever you want it to be... almond or soy or regular milk, yogurt, ice, veggies, fruit, oats, nuts... but the calories add up.0 -

Why would you want to do that? What is the logic behind multiple liquid meals?
It is noteworthy that you've started multiple "detox" threads and are now changing tactics.0
