Logging left overs

Hi
I was hoping for some logging advice. When I cook I log all my ingrediants by weight, but often there is a spoonful of sauce or vegetables left that I don't eat (If I'm full, I'm not going to force myself to eat it just for logging accuracy). However, the next day I might have that spoonful of sauce with my lunch or the veg in an omlette- in this case i don't log it as i've already logged it the previous day. I do the same thing if I log my dinner but finish the rest of my steak off as a snack. Do you think this is okay as it balances out over the week?
