What to eat after fasting for a day

I am not going to be able to eat anything today due to some dental work I had done. I'm still a little confused by all the different answers I get on the same subject when it comes to the whole body going into starvation mode topic. So if tomorrow I wake up and go about business as usual for breakfast (usually an egg, cheese, yogurt and some sort of bread) will my body take all of the fat from that. Should I just eat a salad for breakfast? Sorry if this is a dumb question, I just can't seem to figure it all out ha.

Your body will not go into "starvation mode" from not eating for one day. If you want to eat your regular breakfast, eat your regular breakfast.0

starvation mode is a myth ...
I don't understand what you mean by "...will my body take all of the fat from that" If you are in a caloric surplus then your body will use the excess calories and convert them into fat stores...if you are in a calorie deficit then you don't need to worry.
I would say just eat as you normally would.0 -
