Neither will help with weight loss. It will help flavor your chicken.
Check the label on the back, work it into your calorie goals.0 -
sauces are often a place where lots of calories are hidden...know your calories and track before you eat them.0

It depends on the ingredients. Teriyaki is usually high in sodium and sugar. But many buffalo sauces are made with butter and also usually pretty high sodium. Frank's Red Hot buffalo is very low calorie. If calories are the issue, I'd use that or a similar fat free buffalo sauce.0

Is there such thing as low sodium or teriyaki sauce or low sodium buffalo sauce ???

like others said, sauces tend to have lots of "hidden things'.....particularly salt. I don't think BBQ sauce, teriyaki or buffalo sauces are that horrible if you get them on the side like WeddedBliss said. The purpose of those sauces should be to enhance the flavor - not to have the chicken (or whatever you're dipping in the sauces) swimming in the sauces. I go to a bbq place near work a lot. I get the sauce on the side - it dramatically reduces the amount of sauce I have, and I like bbq sauce...a little goes a long way.
Just make sure to read the labels - but if I were, I'd try to find one with lower sodium, no high fructose corn syrup (or other syrups) if at all possible, bolder flavors.0 -
I make my own "sauces". I mix the dry herbs and spices I like with a little water (or lemon juice if I think it will go) into a paste and rub it on to the meat and leave it in the fridge for a few hours before cooking. I then wrap it in tinfoil to cook, as it isn't as naturally juicy as a proper sauce.
Just note if you use too much chilli, then scrape some off before cooking, or even rinse it a little or you will blow your head off0 -

I haven't seen any, but haven't really looked either. You can buy reduced sodium soy sauce, so probably reduce sodium teriyaki is also available.0
